creative scotland hotel
The idea behind Creative Scotland Hotel is to offer affordable, stylish accommodation for those attracted to the creative culture that Glasgow has to offer. With so many creative events hosted by Glasgow throughout the year, it would act as the main port of call for visitors keen to get a taste of the Glasgow arts scene.
Creative Scotland Hotel would act as the official accommodation for such events such as: The Glasgow Film Festival, Scottish Fashion Awards and The Glasgow International Festival of Visual Arts offering a range of accommodation types to suit all travelers, artists and performers alike.
The interior design of the hotel, would reflect Glasgow’s vibrant art scene, featuring art, fabrics, and wallpapers from home grown artists and designers. A vibrant lively interior filled with bright colours, and bold graphic prints.
An in house gallery space would act as one of the key venues in these festivals, giving guests the chance to live amongst the art, as it happens.
Creative Scotland offers an exciting opportunity to ‘roll out’ this concept across different cities in Scotland, the obvious being Edinburgh, home of the Fringe festival.
